Good work from local Street-Watch group

Dear residents of Bilston North,

You may be aware we run two street-Watch groups in your area. This is where residents,  patrol their local estates and surrounding streets, twice monthly, supporting the Police and providing a visible presence in the area. i more than often attend the walks.

The Hawkswell Drive group have recently patrolled their estate and identified a number of issues, making reports to the council regarding environmental hot spots which have been identified.

On a recent patrol they reported an old burnt out vehicle which has been positioned in woodland between the estate and the Key way. I've been told this has been in situ for a large number of years, it's now gone thanks to their reporting. Also road and park furniture which they reported has been replaced or improved, and there has been a large clearance of rubbish and litter from the subway that leads from Willenhall to Hawkswell

So a big thankyou to the hard work put in by the Hawkswell Drive group.
